The Hard Times Café Maryland State International Chili Society Chili cook-off will be held September 13, 2008 at the Flying Dog Brewery, 4607 Wedgewood Blve, Frederick, MD. The cook-off will award $2,500 in prizes. The event is in conjunction with the Brewery's GONZO FEST celebration to mark their 2^nd Anniversary in Frederick, Maryland. Winners in the Red Chili, Chili Verde and Salsa categories will qualify to cook at the ICS World Championship at the Tropicana in Las Vegas on October 11^th and 12^th, 2008.
